Action For Nature (AFN) is an international environmental organization headquartered in San Francisco, California, USA. AFN's mission is to encourage young people to take personal action to nurture and protect a healthy environment on which all life depends. AFN has published the book Acting for Nature, which describes young people's environmental success stories from around the world. Action For Nature is proud to announce the eighth year of its International Young Eco-Hero Awards.
